Fuji Elevators acquired by KONE
Fuji Elevators — including its service contracts, most of its staff and the Fuji Elevators business name — was acquired by KONE.

Fuji Lifts established
A new entity, Fuji Lifts, was formed to carry forward the lift sales and modernisation business along with several key personnel.

Acquired by Alimak Group Australia
Fuji Lifts joined Alimak Group Australia, bringing together Fuji’s traction lift expertise and Alimak Group’s industrial presence, scale and engineering standards.

Fuji Lifts is led by a general manager with more than 30 years in the commercial and residential lift industry in Australia — covering new installations, modernisation and the technical judgement that comes from three decades of buildings, sites and specifications.
That experience now sits alongside Alimak Group, market leader in rack-and-pinion industrial lifts and temporary construction hoists, with a long-established position in industrial and marine markets. Alimak Group further expanded its traction capability in 2014 through the acquisition of Heis-Tek Lifts in Norway, a specialist supplier of traction lifts to the offshore oil and gas industry.
The result is a single team able to cover the full range of vertical transport requirements — from a residential tower lobby to an industrial facility.

From Melbourne, across Australia and APAC.
Our office and operations are based in Port Melbourne, Victoria. From there we support new installation and modernisation projects across Australia, and — through Alimak Group’s regional network — the wider Asia-Pacific region.
